I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The location is superb, with easy access to multiple subway lines and plenty of convenience stores nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and their perfect English made communication a breeze. The rooms were cozy and provided privacy with curtains on the beds. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The cafe served delicious food and drinks. Plus, the luggage storage post check-out was super convenient.
Some of the guests didn't properly clean the shared kitchen, and it would have been better if there was a sign to remind everyone to use hot water to wash dishes.

I loved the location of Obi Hostel, just a minute's walk from Bakurocho station. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hostel also offers free luggage storage, which was a convenient feature. The reasonable prices and gym facility were definite highlights of my stay. And let's not forget the delicious food at the cafe/restaurant on the ground floor!
I did notice some leftover sweets on the floor, which could have been cleaned more effectively. Additionally, I wish there was a kitchen available for guests and that bringing outside food was allowed.

The train stations nearby make it easy to explore the city. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the staff is accommodating and responsive. The gym facilities are a bonus for staying active during the trip. The location is convenient, with easy access to the airport.
While the dormitory has ample space, some guests complain about noise and lights being on until late at night. The lack of a kitchen or self-catering facilities can be a limitation for those on a tight budget.

The location of the hostel is perfect, as it is near the train station, allowing easy access to different train lines. This makes it convenient for exploring the city and visiting nearby attractions. the staff are very accommodating and provide good service, as they were awake and waiting for us even though we arrived early in the morning. the beds are extremely comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. the dormitory also has enough space for luggage, and the lockers are provided for free use.
One minor downside is that if you want to sit downstairs in the common area, you have to order at least a drink, which could be a little inconvenient.
